Holy Bubbles!
We finally got the bubble counter to work as we wanted it to! We had a lot of issues with getting the interrupt function to work together with the ESP. Initially we tried running it on an Arduino connected to an ESP, but it caused more problems than happy Lhamas. We therefore ended up getting the interrupt function to work directly on the ESP8266.
The next problem came from the counting of the bubbles being to fast, as it was too sensitive. We therefore wanted to integrate a delay, so that it was only able to count actual bubbles. We ended up solving this using the millis() function inside the interrupt function.
Most importantly, we created a gif, which we will show on the screen every time a bubble is created!

Beside this we began working on NodeRed and the implementations of functions defined yesterday.
Prototyping
Today we have begun further work on the fixation of the carboy. Here we started by laser cutting parts to make a rough prototype of fixations to see the amount fixation needed for the carboy to be placed securely on the base. Here we decided to go with a sort of indentation on the base to get the need support but still allow for easy placement of the carboy. This was then further tested, and a CAD model was made of the "final" version, which will help us design the rest of the structure.

Lastly a prototyping session of different stirrers was done. We 3D printed four different designs and tested them with coffee grounds and a motor. We discovered that more prototyping on this needs to be done in the next days to perfect the design of the stirrer.

Adiós Lhamas!
