Hola hola chips and cola
Getting ready for the final sprint next week, we completed all of the sketches for the 3D printed parts as well as the laser cut parts. Now we just need to have them produced and assembled - hopefully without too many iterations needed for everything to work out. The final design has been well discussed, but we have all come to an agreement about the following design:

As we discussed in the former blog post, we needed to find a solution to bend some hoses without blocking the water flow for the filter drawer. Today we came up with a solution to this issue. We would like to create a construction, where the hoses are bend in some hoops kept in place by some fixations inside the drawer. When the drawer is pulled out, the hoop simply decreases and vise versa. This way we can control both how far you can pull out the drawer and control the degree to which the hose gets bend.

To do a final test of this important hose-system, we need to do 3D drawings and prints of the fittings and case, since the cardboard is kind of wobbly, and doesn't allow us to stress test and test the "smoothness" of the mechanism when pulled.
Good karma, kein problhama
