Hello fellow Lhamas!
After a short break following a very busy exam period, the Lhamas have assembled to begin the three week period. The first half of the day was spent getting an overview of the course structure and available tools, and the first batch of apple pulp was created and mixed together with the other ingredients in a carboy.
During the second half of the day we be began by discussing the functions of the smartWinery and the goals for our three sprints. We discussed adding a way of transferring the wine from one carboy to another, or to be able to filter out any sediment. Because of the uncertainty in adding this function, we decided that the first sprint should be focused on trying to choose between ver1 (without this feature) or ver2 (with this feature).

The possible add on found in ver2 implemented in the overall Function/Means Tree
We therefore divided the three sprints as following:
sprint: This sprint is going to be all about low fidelity prototyping. Here we want to focus on exploring a few new features and see, if any of the prototypes we did during the thirteen week period needed further evaluation. Furthermore we want be able to choose between ver1 and ver2, and settle on the functions we need to develop further and begin implementing with arduino and NodeRed during sprint two.
sprint: During this sprint we will further develop and prototype the chosen version and it's functions. This is where we want to begin increasing the fidelity of the prototypes. Moreover we will begin the implementation of code in Arduino and develop the UI with NodeRed. During this sprint we will also be visualizing our product and design the aesthetic.
sprint: This sprint is about the final detailing and finalization of the product. Moreover we will work on the deliverables.
We then began exploring and working on the ProtoMap, mapping out the sprints, sprint goals, and the functions.
