Brainstorming

Today marks the beginning of the first half of project 3. The topic for this project is Sustainability.

To kickstart the project the Lhamas began with a brainstorming session, where a lot of different ideas emerged.

To navigate the different ideas they were organized into an Affinity diagram. The different ideas were discussed and organized into categories and sub-categories to mark similarities. From here the ideas were color coded(pink for realistic/fun ideas, yellow for ideas to consider incorporating into other ideas and grey for the ideas, we did not want to consider further). Moreover we came up with final ideas. To find out what idea we wanted to go with, we voted. We were given two votes each. A form of food waste transformer was the most popular.

Specifically we decided to continue working on an apple wine maker, as to minimize food waste in the form of fallen apples or other apples, that will not get eaten otherwise.
